Scottish Terrier
Scottish Terrier
Scottish Terrier is made from a long pile Schulte mohair, scissor sculpted to shape. He is filled with pure new wool and his legs are fully jointed with cotter pins, so may be positioned. He has British made black glass eyes with wire back loops and a beeswaxed cotton embroidery thread nose. His collar is made of red 100% wool felt with an appliqued and embroidered ribbon with a vintage mother of pearl button decoration. It closes with a hidden press stud.
This Scottish Terrier has a Harris Tweed check wool coat in red, grey and blue, lined in black yarn-dyed organic cotton fabric, with two vintage dyed mother of pearl button decorations and press stud fasteners to close at the front and side. Harris Tweed is a special wool fabric made from the wool of Cheviot and Scottish Blackface sheep. It is grown, spun and loom-woven by hand in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. The Harris Tweed Authority certifies the production of the cloth and protects its status as a regional product.
I sew all my toy dogs by hand, with a few seams completed on my vintage Bernina sewing machine. They are made with great care using traditional techniques. All my toys are finished with an individual sewn in tag authenticating each one as a genuine 'Little Toy Dog'.
Measurements: 23cm long, 20cm tall.
My toys are not suitable for children under 14 years and are intended as collectable, heirloom pieces for older children and adults.
All toys are gift wrapped in presentation boxes lined with acid free tissue paper. The box has a grossgrain ribbon tab and a magnetic closure. There is a separate outer corrugated cardboard box for posting. All dogs are sent insured and tracked by Special Delivery in the UK, and Tracked and Signed for International deliveries.
