Dark Brindled Whippet is made from a beautiful short, dense mohair fabric with hand-applied brindle markings. Mouth, nose and whisker dimples are hand stitched in beeswaxed embroidery thread. Eyes are traditional black glass with wire-looped backs. Legs are fully jointed and may be positioned. Filling is pure new wool with wire leg armatures and fine steel beads in the paws for weight.

The collar is sage green 100% wool felt, with a hand appliqued piece of very old Arts & Crafts ribbon that I bought at Spitalfields Market in London. It is stitched in copper thread, closing with a press stud and vintage mother of pearl button. The rosette is made of three kinds of satin and gold lame ribbon, with a loop on the back which slips over the collar. The central button is carved mother of pearl.

I sew all my toy dogs by hand, with a few seams completed on my vintage Bernina sewing machine. They are made with great care using traditional techniques. All my toys are finished with an individual sewn in tag authenticating each one as a genuine 'Little Toy Dog'.

Measurements: 25cm nose to tail, 20cm feet to top of head when standing.

My dogs are not suitable for children under 14 years and are intended as collectable pieces for older children and adults.

All toys are gift wrapped in brown presentation boxes lined with acid free tissue paper. The box has a ribbon tab and a magnetic closure. There is a separate outer corrugated cardboard box for posting. All dogs are sent insured and tracked by Special Delivery in the UK, and Tracked and Signed for International deliveries.
